Welcome to
Government Industrial Training Institute, Siliguri

This Institute was established in the year 1968 with the objectives of creating skilled manpower in various fields keeping in mind the Industrial Development in & around Siliguri and for wage employment/self-employment of the persons of Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri.  In 2006, this Institute was included in the up-gradation scheme under DGE&T, Govt. of India through VTIP mode.   Some new trade courses are already introduced at this Institute and some are in que. We are trying to develop and improve the Infrastructure of this Institute continuously.
