BRIEF HISTORY OF SATISH CHANDRA GOVT. ITI Satish Chandra Govt. ITI is located at Kalanabagram; Purba- Bardhaman (Latitude- 28.18°N and Longitude- 87.99°E).Total land area of this Institute is 10500 Sq.M. Basic Training College, Rabindranath Open School and Arabinda Prokash Vidyayatan and Acharya Promothonath Buniyadi Vidyalaya is situated very nearer of this Institute. As per Govt. Order No. 854-Edn. January 1957 sanction was accorded to Siksha Niketan, Kalanabagram for the establishment of JUNIOR TECHNICAL SCHOOL at Kalanabagram- Burdwan for the total capacity 120 trainees. JTS were imparting 3 years Junior Diploma in Engineering courses under the state council for Engineering & Technical Education, W.B.
