Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Malda is situated at Maheshmati in the district town Malda. This Institute was established on 1968 with the objectives of creating skilled technician in various fields keeping in mind the Industrial Development in and around Malda as well as West Bengal . At present the Institute is running with 380 students capacity in different trades like Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Mech. Motor Vehicle, Mech. Refrigeration & Air-conditioning, Electrician, Wireman, Welder and Food Beverage . Three Vocational courses ( VIII+ level ) are also running at this Institute .
