Govt. Industrial Training Institute Kumarganj approved by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) and Affiliated to West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training (WBSCVT) is situated at Barahar, Mohipur, Kumarganj, Dakshindinajpur. The institute is just 25km from Balurghat town and 8 Km form Patirum town. The institute was established on 2016 with an aim to meet the changing needs of the society with excellence, problem solving and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Institute has covered single building for administrative and workshop along with library, Staff Quarters, playground for boys and girls. Presently the institute is running with 225 students in six different training courses.
