All the Integrated steel plants are either located in West Bengal or in its hinterland Government Industrial Training Institute, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal under the Directorate of Industrial Training, Department of Technical Education and Training, Govt. of West Bengal was established in the year 1958 as works cum Orientation Centre with large capacity of trainees. The Institute has covered huge land including Administrative Building, Workshops, Store, Hostel Building, Staff Quarters and Playground etc. The Institute has been running for last 60 years.
