Since its inception in the year 1961, Govt. ITI Hooghly has been one of the oldest pioneers Technical Training Institute in the District of Hooghly, West Bengal. Throughout its journey of more than 60 years, the Institute has produced about 25 thousand of Skilled manpower for different Industrial sectors of the country and the significant number of graduates are successfully serving for different important departments like Defence, Navy, Railways, Oil & Natural Gas, Power Corporations, Leading Corporate houses etc. Along with the time, this Institute has expanded its activity in different dimensions related to training and gradually became the Nodal ITI of the District.
