Government ITI Canning I running under PTP is situated at Tangrakhali, Canning, Near Bankim Sardar College. The Institute is approximately 7 Km away from the district town, Canning of South 24 Parganas District. The Institute was established on 2016 with an aim to impart professional skill in training to the district youth. Presently the Institute is running with 304 Trainees in Electrician, Fitter, Draughtsman Mechanical, Welder, Plumber, Surveyor, Diesel Mechanic and Computer Operator and Programming Assistant trade and Broad Based Basic Training Course. There are three Vocational courses running at this Institute containing more than 240 Trainees.
